Medical Laboratory Scientist

Job Summary

Join Medical City Frisco, part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will perform and demonstrate proficiency in various laboratory procedures, maintain records, and assist with training programs.

What You Will Do In This Role

• Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
• Maintain records of performance, patient results, and quality control.
• Maintain equipment, record preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment.
• Absorb and assist with laboratory training programs as required.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Scientist, Certified Medical Lab, Certified Lab Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Lab Scientist, or American Medical Technologist is required.
• At least one year experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
