Medical Lab Technologist/Technician (MT/MLT)

Job Responsibilities

• Follow the lab’s procedure for specimen handling and processing, test analysis, reporting, and maintaining records of patient test results
• Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient samples
• Adequately adhere to the lab’s quality control policies, document all quality control activities including all instrument maintenance performed and assimilate data for review and filing
• Follow the ab’s established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the lab’s established acceptable levels of performance

Requirements

• MLT
• Associate's degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
• MT
• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university
• A bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences, and at least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred

Shifts

• Second shift (2p.m.-10:30p.m.) - Full time
• Third shift (11p.m.-7:00a.m.) - Part time
