This clinical professional position impacts patient care by performing accurate tests as prescribed by the physician in a timely manner so clinicians receive accurate results expediently, enabling them to provide the best possible care.
Responsibilities
- Perform various clinical laboratory tests as requested in physician orders
- Ensure accurate and timely test results to support clinician decision-making
Qualifications
- Education Required: Associates degree in a science field
- Preferred: Associates degree in Laboratory Science from an accredited program
- Grandfathered Qualifications: HEW or military certification acquired prior to 1980
- Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Required: Medical Technician registry eligible
- Preferred: Medical Technician registered (ASCP or applicable)
Pay
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
Pay Range: $36.00 - $48.45
