About the role
As a Medical Lab Technologist / MLT, you will assist the team of medical professionals in research, testing, and laboratory maintenance. Responsibilities include recording data, sterilizing equipment, ordering and organizing supplies, performing quality-control tests, and maintaining an understanding of biohazard safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist in research, testing, and laboratory maintenance
- Record and manage laboratory data
- Sterilize and maintain laboratory equipment
- Order and organize laboratory supplies
- Perform quality-control tests
- Maintain biohazard safety protocols
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills (active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension)
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Pay
Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,224
Estimated weekly stipend: $1,393
