Medical Lab Technician PRN
Job Summary
The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) utilizes skills and training to perform tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids to aid in patient diagnosis and evaluation.
Maintains awareness when interacting with patients, visitors, co-workers, and all other customers, promoting a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Fulfills departmental responsibilities aligned with the mission, vision, and values of Centennial Medical Center.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or completion of a military course equivalent to at least 50 weeks, holding the position of Medical Laboratory Specialist.
- Completion of a clinical laboratory training program approved or accredited by ABHES or CAAHEP, with at least 3 months of documented training in each specialty requiring high complexity testing.
- Documentation of qualification and continuous service as high complexity testing personnel in a CLIA-certified laboratory as of December 28th, 2024.
