Medical Lab Technician

Pay Package

• Up to $1,850/Week Gross Weekly Pay
• Taxable Weekly Pay: $800
• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipend: $1,050 (for eligible travelers)

Schedule

• 4 × 10-hour shifts per week
• Night shift
• Shared call rotation
• Weekend call required
• Generally includes one weekend of call per month
• Exact call expectations will be discussed during the interview

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general laboratory testing according to established procedures
• Collect and process blood and other patient specimens
• Perform phlebotomy and ensure proper specimen identification and handling
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws
• Operate laboratory equipment and perform quality control procedures
• Accurately document test results and maintain laboratory records
• Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Participate in the shared call rotation as required

Requirements

• ASCP, MLT, or MLS certification required
• Experience in general laboratory testing
• Strong phlebotomy skills
• Experience performing arterial blood gas draws
• Ability to work independently during assigned shifts
• Willingness to participate in night and weekend call rotation
