About the role
A dedicated Cat Scan (CT) Technician to perform computed tomography imaging in accordance with standards and scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Review patient history and physician's orders
- Educate patients about procedures and equipment
- Prepare and administer contrast media or medications as ordered
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes
- Prepare equipment, implement safety standards, and perform quality control
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Position patients, perform imaging procedures, analyze results, and address image quality issues
- Transmit and report scan results
Requirements
- Two-year certificate, Associate, or Baccalaureate degree
- Current Radiation Operator Certificate and ARRT registration in Radiology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum one year of DMS experience (preferred)

- Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations
- On-call availability with rapid response capability
