About the role

Join our team as a Medical Imaging Assistant and work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner, meeting new people from various facilities while making a difference in your community.

Schedule

Part-time, 2-3 days per week, including some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing excellent patient care on a mobile medical route, including maintaining patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
• Assist in transporting patients between the medical facility and the mobile scanner.
• Assist the Medical Technologist in completing applicable forms and positioning patients on the scanner to facilitate the examination.
• Complete necessary administrative tasks (e.g., time/activity reports and billing).

Requirements

• Previous patient care experience.
• Willingness to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment (post-offer) background check, urine drug screen, and physical.
• Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
