About the role

This part-time position offers a unique change of scenery by working on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner and the ability to meet new people from various facilities. Become a difference maker in your community and join our Shared Medical Services team.

Schedule

• Tuesday mornings
• Wednesday mornings possible

Responsibilities

• Assist technologist in starting IVs
• Assist in providing excellent patient care on a mobile medical route, including maintaining patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality
• Assist in transporting patients between the medical facility and the mobile scanner
• Assist the Medical Technologist in completing applicable forms and positioning patients on the scanner to facilitate the examination
• Complete necessary administrative tasks (e.g., time/activity reports and billing)

Requirements

• Phlebotomy/IV experience preferred but not required
• Must be willing to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen, and physical
• Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
