About the role
Join Our Team as a Processing Technician! At Solvita, you’ll work in a cutting-edge facility where technology meets healthcare by creating grafts from living and cadaveric tissue and bone and ensuring that each allograft meets the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and safety. This position, internally titled as a Processing Technician, offers the chance to be at the forefront of medical manufacturing, directly contributing to products for transplantation that save and enhance patient lives.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and supply chain, to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- Exhibit high attention to detail and precision in performing tasks and maintaining documentation.
- Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly document processes and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work within a team setting and possess the ability to receive and follow directions.
- Ability to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
- Requires heavy lifting, continuous levels of standing and is physically demanding.
- Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.
- Requires good eye-hand coordination skills.
- Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in related field.
- Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) or two years of previous tissue allograft manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of processing anatomy and sterile techniques is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
