Medical Front Office - Patient Service Specialist - KORT - $1000 Sign On Bonus - Float

Position Summary

This is a FLOAT position, which requires traveling between teams/centers in the greater Georgetown area. Reliable transportation and a clean driving record is preferred.

About the Role

We want our patients to have an exceptional experience starting at the front desk. As a Patient Service Specialist, you will manage both the patient side and business side of our center.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient registration and check-out processes
• Provide information about the patient's next appointment and what to expect during their visit
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Communicate with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies, and translation services
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of front desk experience
• One year of medical office experience preferred

$16/hour (pending experience) + $1000 sign on bonus

Weekdays (7am to 4pm OR 8am to 5pm OR 9am to 6pm)
