About the role

This field position allows you to employ evidence-based guidelines to develop effective case management strategies. You will manage case management files in alignment with established protocols and client directives, serving as a liaison for care coordination at provider offices. Your role involves maintaining an ongoing caseload, communicating with multidisciplinary team members, and ensuring care is delivered across the continuum to support a smooth return-to-work process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement case management strategies using evidence-based guidelines.
  • Manage case management files in compliance with client directives and established protocols.
  • Serve as a liaison for care coordination by meeting injured employees at their provider’s office.
  • Maintain an ongoing caseload while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Facilitate a seamless return-to-work process for injured employees.
  • Apply critical thinking and sound judgment in decision-making and assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a medical field.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) designation.
  • At least three years of experience in Workers’ Compensation.
  • Working knowledge of evidence-based guidelines such as ODG by MCG and return-to-work protocols.
  • Case Management Certification (required).
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
  • Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.

Pay

The expected pay for this role ranges from $79,000.00 to $83,000.00.

Once an offer has been extended and accepted, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a background and drug screen.
