Medical Expert

About the role

AfterQuery is seeking Medical Experts to create and refine clinical reasoning challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate clinical scenarios — differential diagnoses, management decisions, guideline questions — that test an AI model’s ability to reason through medicine safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical vignettes, diagnostic exercises, and management scenarios that challenge AI models
• Evaluate and validate model responses for clinical accuracy and evidence-based reasoning
• Collaborate with clinicians and technical experts to calibrate difficulty and specialty coverage

Qualifications

• MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree
• Clinical experience in practice, residency, or academic medicine
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Board certification in any specialty (preferred)
• Teaching, publication, or peer‑review experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with clinical AI applications is a plus (preferred)
