Responsibilities

• Cleans, disinfects, assembles, and maintains durable medical equipment and respiratory care equipment.
• Sets up patient and instructs on proper and safe use of medical equipment and supplies as well as physician prescription.
• Assists in organization and management of supply rooms.
• Assists in maintaining inventory of equipment needs for the branch, including ordering from vendor and entering into inventory system.
• Performs data entry, answers telephone and directs calls to appropriate staff.
• Answers questions for patients and referral sources regarding insurance criteria and replenishment processes.
• Assists in processing RMA for equipment failures.
• Routinely fills CPAP resupply orders.
• Responsible for accreditation tasks as assigned.
• Follows all federal, state, local and regulatory guidelines.
• May require operating an INTEGRIS owned vehicle or personal vehicle; must have a current State Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.

Qualifications

• Preferred 2 years' experience with Durable Medical Equipment.
• Preferred 2 years' experience with Medicare and other insurance carriers as it pertains to Durable Medical Equipment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
