About the role

As a Medical Education Specialist, you'll serve as a clinical expert and educational resource for orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, residents, athletic trainers, operating room staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and technical support during orthopedic surgical procedures.
  • Educate surgeons, physician offices, operating room staff, and healthcare professionals on Arthrex products and surgical techniques.
  • Assist with surgeon training programs, cadaver labs, and educational events.
  • Become a clinical expert across the Arthrex product portfolio.
  • Support new product launches and clinical education initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to deliver exceptional customer support.
  • Carefully coordinate case coverage and inventory management as needed.
  • Continuously expand your clinical knowledge through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) strongly preferred.
  • Clinical experience in sports medicine, orthopedics, or surgical settings preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and critical thinking abilities.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced operating room environments.
  • Team-oriented with a positive, service-focused attitude.
