Medical Driver – Nashville, TN (Full Time) M-F 5:30pm-2:00pm ($17/hr.)

Responsibilities

• Operate a hand-held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle
• Perform route duties that vary based on client and business needs
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture

Requirements

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver's license for 3 years
• Must have an excellent driving history
• Must be able to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens
• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must be comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time

Qualifications

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, demonstrated dependability and reliability, familiarity with technology, and ability to follow procedures closely are required.

Skills

Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points, strong communication skills, and adaptability are beneficial.
