Medical Director/Sr Medical Director - Pulmonary

For our client, we are seeking a Medical Director/Sr Medical Director - Pulmonary to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This remote leadership role focuses on medical oversight across clinical development activities within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. The position will partner closely with investigators, sponsor teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure patient safety, protocol adherence, and high-quality clinical execution. It also requires strong medical judgment in reviewing safety data, managing study-related medical issues, and supporting work across the product life cycle. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $210,000 – $250,000 annually Responsibilities Provide medical oversight of clinical trials to ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements Attend and present at investigator and sponsor meetings, offering medical consultation to clients and project teams Manage medical aspects of contracted tasks throughout the pharmaceutical product life cycle Monitor safety variables and discuss medical concerns with principal investigators and clients Review and analyze clinical trial adverse events and safety reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness Qualifications MD or equivalent required; active medical licensure preferred Clinical experience in Pulmonary/Critical Care with formal training through residency and/or fellowship, plus patient treatment experience of approximately 2 years For Senior Medical Director: clinical and industry experience, including clinical trial experience or safety/pharmacovigilance experience of 1-2 years Therapeutic expertise in Neurology is a plus Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills Benefits Competitive remuneration and annual incentive plan bonus Comprehensive healthcare coverage Innovative and forward-thinking organizational culture Outstanding career and development prospects Commitment to integrity, intensity, involvement, and innovation Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
