Medical Director -Spine

Responsibilities

• Expand company's medical management programs focusing on member needs
• Support Medical Management staff to ensure timely member and provider responses
• Lead utilization review and quality assurance processes
• Direct case management activities effectively
• Provide clinical expertise in support of medical management programs
• Serve as liaison to network providers and facilities for medical services execution
• Conduct predetermination reviews and claim determinations using computer applications

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O., Board Certification in Orthopedic Spine or Neurosurgery
• 2+ years of experience in Health Care Delivery System
• Active, current state medical license without restrictions
• Post-graduate direct patient care experience
• Familiarity with clinical coding and reimbursement processes

$174,070 – $374,920 annually
