Medical Director – Primary Care & Community Health

Position Overview

The Medical Director leads clinical operations and supports provider leadership while maintaining an active clinical practice.

Leadership / Clinical Mix

• Approximately 6 clinical FTE
• 4 leadership FTE

Leadership Scope

The Medical Director will:

• Provide clinical leadership for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
• Mentor providers and support recruitment and onboarding
• Lead initiatives related to clinical quality, population health, and care delivery
• Collaborate with leadership across medical, behavioral health, dental, and care coordination services
• Support implementation of clinical policies, protocols, and evidence-based care standards
• Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategic initiatives

Practice Environment

• Integrated care model with behavioral health, dental, and care coordination services
• Team-based support including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral health clinicians, nurses, and care coordinators
• Emphasis on population health, chronic disease management, and preventive care
• Modern electronic health record system (eClinicalWorks)
• Supportive leadership committed to provider well-being and quality improvement
• Limited or shared call responsibilities
• Focus on quality care and patient relationships rather than high-volume production

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive compensation package including:
• Base salary range: $250,000 – $290,000 depending on experience
• Leadership stipend included

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a physician who brings:

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Passion for community health and patient-centered care
• Interest in clinical leadership and provider mentorship
• Commitment to quality improvement and integrated care

Previous leadership experience is welcomed but not required for physicians with strong leadership potential.
