Medical Director Physician
Position Summary
Eventus WholeHealth delivers an integrated model of care to adults residing in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, and in-house Support Staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Medical Director responsibilities at SNFs with focus on H&Ps and regulatory visits.
- Collaborative partnering with other Events WholeHealth doctors for oversight visits at all ALFs in your territory.
- Focused intent on MD exposure, meeting with RCC and Admin, being at facility during NP/PA rounding, and overseeing visits that guide quality of care for our extenders while meeting RVU expectations.
- Supervise all NPs in your region and create systems.
- Collaborate with facility and providers to implement a systems-based approach at facilities.
- Monthly Primary Care Conference Calls.
- Work with our Audit team to ensure compliance with Medicare or Medicaid standards.
- SNF duties: administrative tasks such as signing MD-only paperwork, attending QA meetings, and making rounds in the OR.
- Attend regulatory visits (MD responsible for every other 60-day visit, NP for every 30-day visit twice).
- Manage all acute, discharge, and transfer cases for each SNF, ensuring regular follow-ups for the plan of care.
