Medical Director of Pediatric Motility

About the role

Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware is seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist with expertise in Motility and Functional GI disorders to lead our program on Motility & Functional Gastrointestinal disorders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the motility and functional gastrointestinal disorders program
• Collaborate with a team of dietitians, social workers, psychologists, and support staff
• Deliver world-class patient and family-centered care in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Florida
• Engage in clinical and quality improvement research
• Teach residents, fellows, and providers across the region
• Participate in multidisciplinary care and advanced robotic surgery

Requirements

• Experience in pediatric gastroenterology and motility procedures
• Track record of leadership and clinical excellence
• Successful track record of research

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Pediatrics and Gastroenterology
• MD or DO degree
• Residency and fellowship training in Pediatrics and Gastroenterology

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
