What You Will Do
- Leading medical affairs delivery across your portfolio, setting standards and developing your team.
- Providing strategic medical leadership and guidance on project teams.
- Offering expert medical and scientific consultation throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensuring compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in medical and safety monitoring activities.
- Reviewing medical data on the indication, inclusion/exclusion criteria and other medical issues to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
- Representing the Medical Affairs Department in business development initiatives, investigator meetings, and project kick-off meetings.
- Providing operational oversight within the Medical Affairs Department as needed.
Required Qualifications And Experience
- A medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Neurology required.
- Board certified in Neurology.
- Proven track record of medical leadership and consultation within pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries or CRO space preferred.
- A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and ethical standards in clinical research.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the department effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to provide operational management in the absence of senior management.
- Experience working with phase II-III studies either in industry or as an investigator is highly preferred.
- A willingness to travel as required (approximately 10%).
