About the role
The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include pulmonary and critical care fellows, house staff and medical students.
- Active and high-quality teaching.
- Consultation, evaluation, and management of outpatient and inpatient lung transplant candidates and recipients within the health system on a growing lung transplant service.
- Experience working with advanced practice providers and trainees.
- Drive strategic growth, ensure clinical excellence, lead quality improvement, and support innovative research and education initiatives.
- Experienced transplant pulmonologist with strong leadership skills committed to patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Requirements
- M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
- Board certification in Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care.
- Rank will be commensurate with experience.
