Medical Director - Endocrinologist

Position Overview

The Medical Director of Endocrinology role is a full-time clinical position with additional Medical Director responsibilities. It is part of the Capital Health Medical Group (CHMG) in New Jersey, which is expanding its endocrinology department.

Opportunity Details

• Provide quality clinically based patient care to diverse population
• Lead and provide clinical expertise within the endocrinology team
• Serve as the outpatient lead for the practices
• Lead for Diabetes education program
• Supervise and teach Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows
• Participate in the educational activities of the Endocrinology
• Serve on and lead hospital and medical staff committees
• Establish regular reporting mechanisms to monitor clinical activity
• Collaborate with the operations team to address variances and implement corrective actions
• Supervise and participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs
• Ensure financial targets align with both short and long-term goals

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree, board certification in Endocrinology
• 5-10 years experience in Endocrinology practice with leadership responsibilities
• Experience in quality improvement and assurance programs preferred
