About the role

We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking Medical Director for the Developmental Pediatrics program at the Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team including a physician, nurse practitioner, and social workers to provide clinical expertise in early childhood development, behavioral, and psychosocial issues at the Kireker Center for Child Development (KCCD).
  • Offer clinical services at the KCCD, which includes speech, physical, and occupational therapies, as well as a complete audiology service.
  • Collaborate with other specialists within the Valley Medical Group and Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in Department of Pediatrics activities, KCCD activities, and Hospital Committee meetings as needed.
  • Engage with community groups, including schools, childcare programs, parent groups, and other organizations.
  • Hold academic appointments at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital if eligible based on previous academic ranking and productivity.

Qualifications

  • An MD/DO or equivalent degree.
  • Board certified in Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
  • Existing or eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA, and CDS.
  • Maintain CME credit hours as required for Board Certification and/or hospital staff privileges.

Pay

Salary range of $204,000 - $219,000. Competitive compensation models include generous RVU productivity incentive with the opportunity to grow, uncapped.
