Medical Director, Clinical Development, Solid Tumor Oncology (GYN Oncology)

About the Role
In this role, you will design clinical study concepts, oversee the medical and scientific supervision of clinical trials, and lead the Clinical Team to deliver high-quality program milestones. You will collaborate with Clinical Project Managers, Clinical Trial Managers, and Therapeutic Area Program Managers to advance our mission of making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Define clinical trial-related goals and objectives
- Conduct literature and database research to inform trial design
- Collaborate with Clinical Project Managers, Clinical Trial Managers, and the Therapeutic Area Program Manager
- Contribute to program team meetings, scientific advisory boards, study steering committees, and data/safety monitoring meetings
- Lead and supervise the Clinical Team to deliver high-quality program milestones on schedule
- Build and maintain relationships with key study investigators
Requirements
- MD or MD/PhD with a minimum of 2 years of relevant research experience in industry or the academic research setting
- Oncology clinical fellowship training with translational and/or clinical research experience strongly preferred
Location & Travel
This position is based in Tarrytown, NY, with approximately 10% travel to relevant conferences.
Pay
Salary Range (annually): $284,900.00 - $385,700.00
