Medical Director, Clinical Development, Hematology Oncology
Job Summary
Lead clinical strategy and deliverables for an assigned section of a clinical program. Drive execution across trial phases in partnership with global line functions. Guide and support assigned Clinical Scientists and Clinical Operations associates. Represent the program in interactions with regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, and advisory boards. Partner cross-functionally with Research, Early Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and HE&OR. Contribute to internal decision boards shaping program direction. Shape Global Clinical Development standards by authoring or reviewing SOPs. Participate in training programs and strategic taskforces that advance clinical development practices.
Requirements
- MD or equivalent medical degree with clinical Residency training
- Hematology or Oncology fellowship training strongly preferred
- More than 2 years of experience in clinical research or drug development (academic or industry), spanning Phases I through IV
- Medical/scientific expertise in the disease area of the assigned program, hematologic malignancies, preferred
