About the role

As Scientific and Medical Lead for clinical team(s), you will guide development strategy and regulatory submissions while collaborating with Operational Leads, discovery teams, and Global Patient Safety. This role reports to an Executive Medical Director, Internal Medicine and offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.

Locations: Tarrytown, NY, Cambridge, MA, or Warren, NJ. Travel: 10% to relevant conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative clinical strategies to shorten development cycles amid an evolving regulatory landscape
  • Design efficient, robust Phase 2/3 programs
  • Partner with discovery teams to inform next-generation targets and lead Phase 1 clinical testing plans for initial PK/PD and safety characterization
  • Safeguard patient safety in clinical studies and support signal detection from post-marketing surveillance
  • Act as medical expert and leader in interactions with external stakeholders
  • Plan and execute publication and clinical communication strategy, and contribute to key external presentations
  • Ensure the quality of clinical documents, including investigator brochures, protocols, study reports, and regulatory submission materials

Requirements

  • MD or equivalent advanced medical degree
  • Clinical training in Endocrinology or Cardiology (board certified or eligible) strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant clinical development experience in industry, including protocol design, study start-up, and study team execution
  • Experience with regulatory filings and health authority interactions preferred

Pay

Salary Range (annually): $333,300.00 - $450,900.00
