Family Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead our established small animal practice in Topeka, Kansas. This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian who is passionate about advancing clinical excellence, mentoring fellow doctors, and helping shape the future of a trusted community hospital.

Responsibilities

• Guide the medical vision and clinical standards of the hospital
• Mentor and support early-career and experienced veterinarians
• Collaborate with hospital leadership on strategic growth initiatives
• Introduce new services, treatment protocols, and medical advancements
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellence
• Support staff development and continuing education
• Champion high-quality patient care and client communication
• Help drive long-term success for the hospital and its team

Requirements

• Experienced Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or equivalent)
• Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Utah
• A passion for mentoring and team development
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
