Medical Director

About the role

We are seeking a Medical Director to join Blairstown Animal Hospital, a 5-doctor small animal practice located in Blairstown, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pets and dedicated to providing world-class medicine.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full-scope surgical caseload
• Practice at AAHA-accredited facility equipped with advanced diagnostic tools
• Collaborate with a team of veterinarians and support staff
• Teach and mentor veterinary students and interns
• Develop strong client and associate relationships
• Participate in clinical studies and continuing education programs

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited university
• Licensure to practice in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain licensure
• A commitment to high standards of veterinary medicine and ethical practice

Qualifications

• Experience in small animal medicine and surgery
• Strong leadership and teaching skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000, with a competitive bonus package and sign-on bonus available.

This position offers a full-time schedule with flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the practice and the individual.
