Medical Director

About the role

We are seeking a part-time Medical Director to provide physician leadership and clinical oversight for a long-term care facility in Warren, Ohio. The schedule is 1–2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the facility's attending physician leader and oversee resident medical care
• Develop, review and approve clinical policies, procedures and care protocols
• Take part in QAPI, infection control and pharmacy/therapeutics committees
• Work with the Administrator, Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team on resident outcomes
• Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness under CMS and Ohio requirements
• Act as a clinical resource for attending physicians, nurse practitioners and nursing staff

Requirements

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Ohio medical license
• Long-term care experience required
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Geriatrics preferred
• Available 1–2 days per week on site
