Medical Director

About the role

Town & Country Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, client-focused DVM with strong communication skills, passion for leadership, mentorship, and team development, clinical interests in surgery, dentistry, and/or internal medicine, and 2+ years of management or leadership experience to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the veterinary team in providing high-quality care to our clients and their pets
• Mentor and develop junior veterinarians and support staff
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with all veterinary standards and regulations
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making for the practice

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Florida
• Experience in surgery, dentistry, and/or internal medicine
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to manage a busy veterinary practice
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
