About the Role

This Medical Director position offers a unique opportunity where the veterinarian manages their own medical caseload and partners with a Hospital Manager to run the team and manage the site. There is also a joint venture partnership opportunity with potential for buy-in.

Responsibilities

• Manage the medical caseload alongside a Hospital Manager
• Engage and mentor the staff to foster a positive work environment
• Extend grace during challenging days and provide constructive feedback
• Encourage continued professional development through annual CE commitments

Requirements

• Experience in veterinary medicine
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to build strong client relationships
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• State license to practice veterinary medicine
• Experience in a leadership role within a veterinary practice

$150,000 - $200,000 based on experience
