MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Salary/DOE/Full-Time/Lapwai
- Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) license in good standing from any state.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
- Unrestricted DEA license.
- Minimum of two (2) years in administrative management, including direct clinical supervision.
- Current certifications in CPR/BLS, ACLS and PALS.
- Experience working with tribal communities strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of the unique health challenges and cultural considerations affecting Native American populations.
- Knowledge of history, culture, and health needs of Native American communities preferred.
- Ability to work independently, excellent communication skills (oral and written), and handle conflict and crisis professionally.
- Basic knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems desirable.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Pass an extensive background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Valid drivers license with insurability under the Tribes policy.
