About the role

Vituity is seeking a Medical Director to join our team in Lodi, CA. This position offers autonomy, local control, and a national system of support, allowing you to focus on your patients.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and champion Vituity’s purpose, mission, vision, values, culture of brilliance, and strategy
• Ensure compliance with all Vituity requirements and policies
• Monitor healthcare and economic trends
• Develop and execute an annual practice management plan
• Select and align administrative management team members
• Maintain financial performance and identify areas for growth
• Manage operational and quality metrics
• Implement Vituity initiatives and operational programs
• Recruit, onboard, and train new providers
• Evaluate physician and CRNA performance
• Counsel, suspend, or remove staff as necessary
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and other healthcare team members

Requirements

• Licensed physician with M.D. or D.O. degree and residency
• Hospital medical staff membership and privileges
• Five years or more leadership experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Superior clinical skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
• Project management skills
• Effective collaboration with diverse individuals and multiple locations
• Strong technical skills in accounting and finance

• Adventist Health Lodi Memorial - 214-bed hospital with 10 med/surg ICU beds and 6 ORs
• Multiple outpatient facilities within a short drive
• In-house OB service
• Healthy pediatric population with low-risk laboring patients
• Two da Vinci robots for advanced laparoscopic surgery
• Same-day surgery cases available
• No trauma, cardiac, or neurosurgery services
• Urgent but not emergent emergencies
• Over 10,000 cases annually
