About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Medical Director - Addiction Medicine (telehealth) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000 – $240,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an addiction medicine expert and senior clinical leader
  • Collaborate with Clinical Services to enhance patient safety and quality
  • Lead the review of clinical protocols and evidence-based guidelines
  • Support quality assurance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Mentor clinical leaders and foster clinical excellence standards
  • Develop scalable clinical workflows from quality and operational findings
  • Evaluate and support the introduction of new service lines

Qualifications

  • Board Certification in Addiction Medicine with a valid medical license
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in substance use disorder care
  • Proven leadership in clinical programs and multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in scaling clinical initiatives and quality measures
  • Skilled in developing clinical protocols and workflows across multiple sites
  • Proficiency in using data for clinical performance improvement
  • Exceptional communication and mentorship abilities
