Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials in a company‑owned vehicle.
• Operate a hand‑held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
• Perform route duties across all assigned routes, adapting to client and business needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with and ability to adapt to technology.
• Ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Operate company vehicles equipped with dash‑cam recording systems in accordance with applicable federal and state laws and company safety policies.
• Drive a non‑commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift items off storage racks.
• Comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.

Pay

$15.00 per hour plus a $1.00 differential for hours worked between 10 PM – 5 AM on Monday and Tuesday.

Schedule

Part‑time: Monday & Tuesday, 3:00 PM – 2:00 AM.
