Medical Delivery Driver Part Time

About the role

Join MedSpeed and help deliver health! We’re a healthcare logistics company partnering with organizations nationwide to transport vital medical supplies and specimens.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat and orderly vehicle
• Perform route duties based on client and business needs, including changing routes as needed
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture

Requirements

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years
• Must be able to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens
• Must have an excellent driving history
• Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and walking long distances
• Must be able to lift items off storage racks
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points

Pay

$16.00/hr

Schedule

Weekdays only, hours and days will be based on business or coverage needs, with weeks where you do not work due to no coverage needs. Long distance driving within the state of Pennsylvania may be required.
