Medical Delivery Driver Full-Time M-R 10am-6:30pm

About the role

As a Medical Driver in the Albuquerque Metro Area (including parts of Rio Rancho, NM), you will safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials using a company-owned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the company vehicle with appropriate equipment.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items throughout the transportation cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant industry/driving experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to lift items off storage racks.
• Must be comfortable with walking and standing for long periods of time.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.

Monday – Thursday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM.
