About the Role

Join MedSpeed as a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Eden Prairie, MN, and play a vital role in transporting essential medical supplies and specimens. This full-time position offers a fixed schedule, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a pay rate of $18.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to accurately track items throughout the transportation cycle.
• Strictly adhere to operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
• Adapt to varying route duties based on client and business needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.

Requirements

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Excellent driving history.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination, depending on location and local mandates.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift items off storage racks.
