Schedule

  • Monday and Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:45 PM
  • Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Pay

$16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials
  • Operate a hand-held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle
  • Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules
  • Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction
  • Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment
  • Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior
  • Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, orderly vehicle
  • Adapt to varying route duties based on client and business needs; perform all duties across assigned routes
  • Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients
  • Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Must be at least 19 years old with an active driver’s license for 3+ years
  • Demonstrated dependability and reliability
  • Familiarity with technology and ability to adapt to it
  • Ability to follow procedures closely and determine efficient routing between multiple points
  • Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens
  • Operate company vehicles equipped with dashcam recording systems (video captured per company policy and laws)
  • Drive a non-commercial vehicle in varying weather and road conditions
  • Excellent driving history required
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required based on location and local mandates
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable lifting items off storage racks, walking long distances, and standing for extended periods

Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics, driving, or customer service preferred but not required
  • Must complete a criminal background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review as a condition of employment
