Medical Delivery Driver

About the role

For this route, you will deliver orthopedic supply kits needed for surgical procedures to hospitals and surgery clinics in the assigned area. These orthopedic kits are needed for hip, joint, knee, and other surgeries. Once the surgeries have been completed and kits have been used, you will make sure that all of the contents of the kit have been accounted for and then return them to the customer's warehouse for cleaning and sterilization. You will make a difference in the lives of those individuals who are starting their journey to healing.

Responsibilities

• Select the appropriate kit(s) from the warehouse assigned for delivery and ensure kits are complete upon pickup
• Deliver orthopedic supply kits to hospitals and surgery clinics for hip, joint, knee, and other surgeries
• Account for all components of each kit upon pickup and after use
• Return used kits to the customer's warehouse for cleaning and sterilization
• Ensure accurate kit selection and completeness to avoid surgery delays
• Communicate effectively (written and verbal) for time-sensitive deliveries
• Maintain a clean appearance and act professionally at all times when interacting with clients

Requirements

• Must live in Bloomington, IL or within a reasonable driving distance
• Must own a cargo or sprinter van
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Fully functioning smartphone
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated and self-starter
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and clean appearance in all settings

Pay

Weekly settlements averaging between $1,200 to $1,600. You must own your own cargo or sprinter van.

Schedule

Weekday late morning to late afternoon/early evening route.
