About the role
As a Courier, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports while providing excellent service to our clients. A company vehicle will be provided for your route, with the option to take it home for personal use for $125 per month.
Schedule
- Sunday: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- Tuesday: 1:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Thursday: 1:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Friday: 1:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Saturday: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Load all necessary supplies needed for daily pickups.
- Complete the daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
- Deliver all daily pickups to your branch at the end of your shift.
- Handle all specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently.
- Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
- Utilize a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
- Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pickups as needed.
- Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Very punctual with strong time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to problem-solve customer issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
- 1+ years of driver or courier experience.
- 1+ years of customer service experience.
