About the role

The Courier will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports while providing excellent service to our clients. A company vehicle is provided for the route, with the option to take the vehicle home for personal use for $125 per month.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies needed for daily pickups
• Complete daily pickup schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily pickups to your branch at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups
• Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pickups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed

Requirements

• Very punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem-solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• At least 21 years old

Qualifications

• No education or experience required (minimum)
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent (preferred)
• 1 year or more of driver or courier experience (preferred)
• 1 year or more of customer service experience (preferred)

Pay

$17.75 - $21.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 1:00pm – 9:30pm

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7-on/7-off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
