About the role

As a Courier II, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports while providing excellent service to our clients. A company vehicle will be provided for your route, with the option to take it home for personal use for $125 per month.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM. Ability to cover 1st and 3rd shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as a floater for the logistics team, providing coverage for various routes as needed
• Provide on-route training for new couriers/drivers
• Assist with dispatch and pickups when needed
• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups
• Complete daily pick-up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily pickups to your branch at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups
• Work directly with dispatchers for additional pickups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions

Requirements

• 3+ years of driver or courier experience
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• At least 21 years old
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands of the position
• Strong punctuality and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem-solve customer issues

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• 1+ years of customer service experience

Pay

$18.00 – $22.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, internal equity, and market data.

Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible for the 401(k) Plan only. Employees on a 7-on/7-off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
