Medical Consultant- Psychiatrist

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, clear medical direction and opinions to team partners
• Collaborate with other medical consultants for comprehensive analysis
• Apply medical knowledge to assess functional capacity and impairments
• Provide medical education to colleagues in understandable terms
• Contact insured’s healthcare providers for medical information
• Make timely referrals for second opinions as needed
• Manage high volumes of work with urgency and focus on team success

Qualifications

• Professional Degree (MD, DO, PhD, PsyD)
• Active, unrestricted US medical license
• Board certification in area of specialty required
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience
• Strong collaborative skills in a fast-paced corporate setting
