About the role
Responsible for auditing medical coding practices and providing educational support to improve compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Audit medical coding documentation for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide training and education to staff on best practices in medical coding.
- Identify areas for improvement in coding processes and recommend solutions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of coding policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, medical coding, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in medical coding or related field.
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
