We're hiring a Remote ED Charge Abstractor I to join our Revenue Integrity team at Kootenai Health!This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with foundational coding knowledge who are looking to build specialized expertise in Emergency Department facility coding, charge capture, CPT assignment, modifier application, and documentation review.What we're looking for: ✅ 1+ year of hospital experience (2+ preferred) ✅ Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and E/M documentation ✅ Experience with ED facility abstracting, ICD/CPT coding, and modifiers preferred ✅ Coding certification preferred ✅ Strong attention to detail and computer skillsThis is a full-time remote position for most eligible U.S. states.If you're ready to grow your coding career with an award-winning healthcare organization, we'd love to hear from you.
