Medical Biller

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage medical billing activities for hospital and healthcare services
• Post insurance payments accurately to open accounts receivable balances
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies through payer follow-up
• Review, process, and track insurance refunds in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a strong understanding of payer guidelines, billing regulations, and reimbursement policies
• Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting productivity and quality expectations
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience with hospital billing
• Working Knowledge Of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial insurance plans
• Experience With Insurance denials management, Accounts receivable follow-up, Claims status review and resolution, Payment posting
• Ability To Work independently with minimal supervision, Collaborate effectively within a team environment, Stay highly organized and detail-oriented, Manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience using EPIC or similar healthcare billing systems preferred

Schedule & Work Environment

Monday-Friday
8-hour shifts
Flexible start time available
Hybrid schedule:
Onsite: Tuesday & Thursday
Remote: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
