About the role
We are hiring for an in-house medical biller for our award-winning physical therapy practice. Join our supportive and happy team in our open floor plan clinic. There is potential for advancement to managing the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Patient communication, benefits checking, and explanations
- Reviewing patient accounts, collecting co-pays and invoices
- Examining AI-generated decisions and correcting mistakes
- Managing patient schedules and ensuring scheduling quality
- Ensuring full plans of care have been met
Qualifications
- Experience with medical billing and insurance processes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Comfort with technology and AI-assisted tools
Skills
- Excellent communication skills for patient interactions
- Organizational and scheduling abilities
- Analytical thinking for insurance and benefits puzzles
- Ability to work collaboratively with back office billing support
